April News

Progress on Fall from Grace has been slower than I'd hoped this month. Between a bout with the flu and other commitments, I've only managed to add about 10-15K words, and I'm not entirely satisfied with their quality. The good news is that life is starting to calm down, and I'm excited for May, when I hope to complete the second part of the book and begin the final saga—which I promise will be even more epic than the climax of Book 2!

Part of what's slowed me down is inspiration striking at inconvenient times! I've developed half a dozen ideas to improve what I've already written and am now figuring out how to weave these into the rest of the story. Perhaps the most exciting addition involves the last battle angels. With few angels remaining on Eden, those that survive have flocked to the Light's banner, determined to prevent any retaliation for their actions at Barleron and beyond.

Personal Update

I've been busy applying for a research grant for my time in the US, which has consumed more hours than I anticipated. Weather delays have also affected our renovation timeline, but I'm confident I can complete most of the work in the next two weeks.

Our little dude had his six-month injections this morning and took them like a champ! He's also begun sleeping better, both through the night and during the day—a welcome relief. While he's absolutely delightful, we do appreciate having more than 30 minutes to ourselves occasionally!

We're close to wrapping everything up here, with May being our last full month in Australia before our big move to the States.
