July news!

Book 3 Update:

Now that things have settled, I've finally dove back into writing and accomplished more this past month than the previous three combined. I finished part 2 of book 3 - only one section left to go!

I've hit a small snag figuring out exactly how to start part 3. I've rewritten the opening twice and I'm still not satisfied, but the upside is I know precisely where the story needs to go and how everything should unfold. It feels like I'm almost at the finish line.

I've already booked a slot with my editor, so hopefully I'll have a polished draft ready for beta readers soon.

Personal update:

For anyone who's moved internationally, there's always a myriad of small things that catch you off guard. 

My nemesis? 

The dishwasher hose connection. What turned into a Greek tragedy required four trips to the hardware store (who knew there were four different types of 1/2 inch connections?) and two Amazon orders just to get the thing working.

Dishwasher debacles aside, we've settled into our new house. While our old place had stunning views and serious wow factor, this one feels more like home despite us only being here a few weeks.

I do have other news, but that'll wait for the next giveaway in two weeks!
