In the shadow of an impenetrable fortress, First Templar Arthur leads a desperate defence against an overwhelming horde. The Iron Gates have never been breached, but they've never faced an enemy as cunning and vicious as Naberius.

When reports arrive of a massive army marching south, Arthur must unite a fractured group of defenders: his eleven fellow Templars with their supernatural abilities, mercenaries seeking glory and gold, and common soldiers who know they face certain death. Among them stands Phillip, the newly-appointed Twelfth Templar, haunted by a dark past and seeking redemption through sacrifice.

As the enemy's numbers blacken the land like locusts, Arthur knows the odds are impossible.
